Winter Madness 2011

On Sunday January 9th the state of GA got a little winter treat! Snow and freezing rain fell from the sky and covered the roads and all major highways. Schools along with many businesses shut down and people were told to stay indoors. Not only did this winter delight keep people in on Monday but also Tuesday and Wednesday. WIth freezing temperatures and not enough sand to go around, highways have been shut down and schools are staying closed. Cabin fever doesn't even begin to describe what many Georgians are feeling. Hopefully by Friday all will be melted and the world will start turning again...until then STAY PUT! Roads are horrible!
