The 2econd Floor gives back

My extremely talented friend Corey Bertrand of the fashion blog The 2econd Floor, approached me after his fashion event about doing a shoot containing some of the pieces from his show. Of course I was on board! I have worked with Corey now for 4 years and each shoot gets better and better. It's nice to have an artist that you can grow with and trust your visions to. Corey organized and designed a fashion show based on clothing found in thrift stores. His vision is that everyone can be fashionable even on a budget. Him and his team of designers nipped, tucked, and stitched clothing found at The Salvation Army and threw a beautiful fashion show. He then auctioned off all the pieces and donated all the proceeds back to The Salvation Army. Here are some of the pieces I got to photograph that are still up for auction. Expect big things from Mr. Bertrand. I am honored to work with him each and every time.

A love like this...

To say that my parents are my best friends is huge understatement! 41 years of marriage and counting!!!! They are hands down the two best people I know and the single reason I still believe in love. Being able to take their photograph was so much fun and meant the world to me. I can't wait to do it again!!! Here are some of my favorites from the day.

Zoetic Dance-FLUX '11

On Friday September 30th the women of Zoetic Dance took to an abandoned warehouse for two performances at FLUX '11.  It was a beautiful night of dance and art and I was so honored to be a part of it.  Zoetic's next performance will be "Undone" at the Fabrefaction Theater from October 13-15th.  You do not want to miss it!!

I had the honor of bringing the women of Zoetic Dance into the studio to do some promo shots for their up and coming show in FLUX and their October performance "Undone" at the Fabrefaction Theater. I absolutely love working with these women! It is always a great time and the creativity they bring to set is amazing! I will be photographing their performances at FLUX Friday September 30th.  You should come on out and witness the true beauty and talent yourself.  First performance starts at 8.

Dave and Priscilla Caselli-Maternity 101

Saying this couple is photogenic is an understatement! I had a blast photographing these two and I was so happy that they asked me to capture their special moment! It was a good thing we captured this when we did because a week later they welcomed their first child Miller Joseph Caselli. I can't wait to take his pictures now! Thank you to Dave and Priscilla for letting me be a small part in capturing memories for your family.

Eudora June packs out 529 for CD release of Siren Song

On June 23rd my ears got to experience the greatness that is Eudora June. It was their CD release show for Siren Song and 529 was PACKED! Big thank you to Eudora June for having me out and allowing me to photograph their big night. It was an amazing set and I can't wait to see the big things that come from this band. Olde Towne Tavern has three locations in Kennesaw, Lawrenceville, and Suwanee.
