Photo shoot from the heart...

About 3 weeks ago I had the honor of flying out to Arizona to shoot my sister and brother in laws maternity pictures. What a joy this was for me, not only because this was my first maternity shoot, but because it is going to be their first baby and my god-son. They wanted something different and location work. So after driving around for a day my sister and I found a great spot with a beautiful tree and a run down shack. Katy wanted to incorporate basketball somehow so we found a nearby court and took some fun shots with the goal in the background. It was a beautiful day and I had the best time working with them. I am so glad I got to do this for my two best friends! I can't wait to meet little Canyon Thomas Keilman! Cheers!

2009 Gay Pride Parade

On Sunday November 1st I headed down to Peachtree St. where loads of people gathered to watch the end festivities of Gay Pride weekend. It was a parade filled with love, peace, and equal rights. From drag queens to hippies, people watched and were having a great time in support of the gay community. It was so much fun for me to be a part of this and I hope to shoot this event again next year. For more pictures of the parade and the rest of Gay Pride weekend visit MetroMix.com

Gordon Biersch @ Taste of Atlanta

On Sunday October 11th I had the honor of photographing Taste of Atlanta for Gordon Biersch Brewery. With over 80 local restaurants participating people had a wide variety to choose from. Gordon Biersch featured their signature garlic fries along with warm apple bread pudding and southwestern egg-rolls. It was a great turn out and beautiful weather. Gordon Biersch-Buckhead Tapping Party

On Wednesday September 16th I had the privilege to capture the first Tapping Party at Gordon Biersch_Buckhead! As our brewer Jonathan Anderson rolled out the wooden keg, people gathered around to witness the tapping of the Festbier! PROST was in the building providing the music and the beer was flowing like water! It was a great time had by all and I was so excited to be a part of it. Become a fan of Gordon Biersch-Buckhead on Faceboook and find your picture and tag yourself, or follow them on Twitter to keep up with the latest events and specials!

Thrive Lounge hosts "Funky Chic Fashion Mixer and Mannequin Fashion Show"

On Thursday September 10th I had the pleasure of working with Liz Johnson of Elizané Productions at Thirve Lounge for the "Funky Chic Fashion Mixer." It was so much fun to meet new people in the creative industry and to see the fashion of Pashmere Boutique. It was a great turn out and the 6 models did a great job of doing their best mannequin poses. I can't wait to work with Liz again and thank you to all who came out.

Atlanta Girl Magazine Top 25 shoot

On Monday August 3rd, 25 girls (ages 7-16) gathered at Renee's Closet to get their hair and makeup done in hopes of becoming one of the top 10 girls picked to move on to the finals to become one of the faces for Atlanta Girl Magazine. Atlanta Girl Magazine is a new magazine focusing on positive self esteem, education, being a strong woman, and keeping negativity out of our every day lives. It was a huge thrill for me to be a part of this and I can't wait for another opportunity to work with Lisa and Yoshi again. More to come I hope but for now here are just a few shots from that day.
